WBEZ- NPR Chicago
Spec Work
The problem: They wanted to drive listenership with millennials.
The Solution: Level with them. My insight was this- millennials are a mess, but we'd like to think we've got it together. So if everything else in your life is going wrong, at the very least, you've got some knowledge from listening to NPR. We also added a touch of nostalgia by making a microphone version of Microsoft's "Clippy", who I then turned into the snarky best friend you never knew you wanted.
Deliverables: 3 print ads, an instagram revamp, and a TV commercial.
